2017 Garden Trends: Indoor Gardening

credit: freedigitalphotos.net/Stuart Miles
According to Garden Media Group, one of the biggest trends in gardening for 2017 is indoor gardening. Whether growing under lights in soil, hydroponically or aquaponically, more and more people are growing their own clean, fresh veggies and herbs right on their kitchen counters and window sills.

Among the items you can grow indoors:
  • Herb garden – grow a pizza garden on your countertop with all the herbs you need for pizza sauce and toppings.
  • Tea garden – if you enjoy drinking tea, you can grow an assortment of herbs to make your own teas.
  • Leafy greens and microgreens – lettuce and other greens can be grown indoors.
Try the trend:

  • OPCOM Farm offers the GrowFrame, GrowBox and GrowWall for indoor gardening aficionados. Another product that has been on the market for a number of years is MiracleGro’s AeroGarden.
